With a BA degree in Politics and Russian Studies from
Oberlin College, and an MA in Russian and East European Studies (with an emphasis on political and economic infrastructure) from The
University of Michigan, Sigel has worked on feasibility studies in Poland, Uzbekistan, and Russia.
He also worked as an Economic Policy Analyst for
The Open Media Research Institute in Prague, Czech Republic, and has been involved in import export management and real estate development.
He also worked in International Banking and taught multi-national business finance at The
University of Toledo, Ohio, USA. For 9 years he was immersed in academic business publishing with both
Thomson Learning and Pearson Education. Since launching T Sigel Consulting, clients include major global publishing companies, academic institutions, government and private sector organizations.
Working on hundreds of books, he has served as editor for best selling texts such as Cost Accounting, 11e, by Charles Horngren, Srikant Datar, and George Foster, and Principles of Marketing, 4th European Edition, by Philip Kotler, Veronica Wong, John Saunders, and Gary Armstrong. His articles have appeared in The Wall Street Journal Europe, Transition, and other publications.
In business since March 2006, clients include Pearson Education, McGraw Hill, Wiley-Blackwell, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Cranfield University School of Management, and Fan Technology.
